"Phillies' Baseball Field"
Citizens Bank Park, Philadlephia, PA McGinny Ironworks was hired to erect the "Home Run Feature" at the new baseball park for the Philadelphia Phillies. This 100 foot, 40 ton structure has a "Liberty Bell" attached which moves and lights up everytime a Phillie gets a home run. It gongs when the opposing team strikes out! The "bell" is made out of aluminum and fitted out with neon. It is mounted on a structural steel tower. Not a single piece of neon was damaged during this delecate installation. |
